Our Pet Perfection Grooming Salon is considered wonderfully unique. Our pet stylists, MEL and NICOLE groom by appointment only giving your pet their undivided attention from arrival through to completion. Our stylists are highly individualized, seasoned groomers excelling in the art of hand scissoring and the natural looks possible with new comb techniques. Their abilities bring a wide variety of styling choices to our clients’ pets. Our compassionate approach has, when needed, allowed an owner to stay with their pet while being styled for reasons of old age, special medical conditions or temperament issues.

We do not assembly line groom or solely cage dry our pets – ever!

Our Dog Bath includes the following: · nail and paw pad clipping · ear cleaning · clearing the eye area of debris · cleaning and clipping of the anal area · bathing with warmed botanical shampoos and conditioners · and lastly, a fluff drying finish.

Our Dog Styling includes the following: · nail and paw pad clipping · ear cleaning · clearing the eye area of debris · cleaning and clipping of the anal area along with creating a sanitary area from the groin up the undercarriage · bathing with warmed botanical shampoos and conditioners · a complete styling (we always style as the client requests) with a fluff drying finish.

We also offer Deep De-Shedding for both short and long haired dogs. The technique we use has been proven to be effective for as long as 2 months, creating a “shed-free zone”(REALLY!) and more importantly, making most who are allergic finally able to comfortably co-exist with their four-legged object of affection. Long-term effectiveness requires consistent and continuing treatments.

We have also developed a process to gently accomplish a full-body De-Matting – avoiding unwanted shavedowns. Your stylist will evaluate whether this de-matting process is possible for your dog. If your pet’s mats are too deeply involved, a gentle shavedown will be recommended.

Our Cat Services include: nail clipping, bathing and fluff drying, as well as spot dematting.

We provide a “Soft Claws” (a nail cover to prevent damage from scratching) service which includes: a nail trim, the vinyl caps that cover the nail and application of those caps. “SOFT CLAWS” are a humane alternative to de-clawing and last approximately 5 to 6 weeks before a new application is necessary.

Mel is a seasoned Dog Groomer with over 40 years of experience, specializing in hand scissoring and design.

She has been associated with many grooming and veterinarian facilities throughout the New York and Philadelphia area.

She was raised around Doberman Pinchers and Irish Setters. At the age of 14 she landed a summer job washing dogs for a very prestigious grooming parlor where she became an accomplished groomer. Upon graduation from high school Mel managed that same grooming parlor for five years.
